The Killeen Area Heritage Association is open to anyone interested in preserving our local history in order to instruct future generations. We encourage residents to become familiar with our unique and varied history from the early pioneer days, the coming of the railroad, and the formation of Fort Hood. Membership in the association is by annual subscription. Individual memberships are available for just $5 and family memberships are only $10. Association officers are elected annually at the general membership meeting in November. Any current member may vote and hold office in the organization.
