Informational Brochure and DVD

Over 50 Killeen area historical sites and markers have been listed by the association in its brochure “Trains – They made a Town.” The sites include those within the city of Killeen, those on Fort Hood, and those in the surrounding area. The brochure includes a map and directions to the historical sites as well as information on KAHA and its activities.

KAHA has also produced a DVD entitled “Killeen: A Historical Tour” which provides video and narrative of a small sampling of the local area. The DVD also includes a short history of the association’s formation. DVDs and brochures are available at the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce located in the 1913 Santa Fe Railroad depot in downtown Killeen.
   
   
Our vision is to identify, collect, and preserve items and locations of historical significance related to the greater Killeen community in order to inform and educate current and future generations about our rich cultural heritage.
